With education in the field of literature, we encourage creativity and quality, spread reading literacy and cultural worldliness, develop language and reading culture and in particular enable authors, mentors and readers of all generations to switch from amateur writing and observing literature activities to creating quality literature by researching language and contents.

PREVAJALNICA JSKD is the name of thematic translation workshops for belles lettres that are traditionally held on the Slovenian Coast (Koper, Izola, Piran). Theme varies from year to year. Workshops are held by renowned translators and mentors. Approximately 50 participants translate from seven languages: French, German, Spanish, Slovakian, English, Italian, and Portuguese. All day long classes are enriched by joint in-group translation practice, trips in the countryside, evening concerts, and readings.
