Female chamber choir ČarniCe is among the more visible Slovenian choirs. It is a colorful roster of singers brought together by the love for quality choral singing. In over a decade, ČarniCe recorded four albums and collaborated with several conductors in their projects. Since 2014, the promising conductor Monika Fele leads the ensemble, with whom they have already accomplished a number of important achievements. They received 1st prize in the female choirs category at Naša pesem 2016 national competition and ranked 3rd overall. The same year, they took part in Polifonico international choral competition in Arezzo where they were first in two categories and won the second place in the Grand Prix. Their repertoire is chosen in line with the wish for new, yet unperformed, prefering to reach for works of young, still less accomplished Slovenian composers and give life to their compositions through joint collaboration.

Allmänna Sången is a mixed choir from Uppsala, Sweden. The choir presents a rare combination of well–established traditions and innovative musicianship. Founded as a male–voice choir, it has been part of the academic life in Uppsala since 1830. The conversion into a mixed choir took place in 1963, and the choir continues to honor the rich Swedish choral tradition as well as highlighting music by contemporary composers. The choir’s heterogeneous choices of repertoire wishes to inspire the listeners to not only enjoy the treasured music gifts of the past, but also to discover new music. Through its long history, the choir has made many appearances on stages in Sweden and across the globe. They perform their own concerts and collaborate with other artist. In 2014, they carried out a large scale production of Carl Orff’s Carmina Burana together with Swedish Folkoperan. The choir performed the main entertainment event Floral Transformation during the Nobel banquet in Stockholm in 2005. They released the CD Resonanser–Swedish Choral Music New Perspectives in 2009 and won the Swedish Grammis–award the same year for best classical album. During autumn 2015 and spring 2016, Allmänna Sången recorded a new album: Femina Moderna. It consists of music by female contemporary composers and was released last autumn.

Born in 2008, the Turin Chamber Choir aims to explore the less known repertoire from renaissance to contemporary music. With its conductor Dario Tabbia, the choir held various concerts in festivals (MiTo Settembre Musica, UnioneMusicale, Stefano Tempia, Musici of Santa Pelagia) and has performed all over the country. In 2011, they won the national competition of Qurtiano and three special prizes. The choir won the national competition of Arezzo and Feniarco special prize a year later, and recorded its first album VOCI in 2013. The choir was privileged to work with prestigious conductors such as K. Koetsveld, L. Marzola and A. Sanna. In 2015, the choir was invited to perform on tour in Holland which had a great response among the public and the press. It was one of the selected choirs for the international conducting competition in Turin in 2015, and recorded the album Made in Italy the same year, a project focusing on the Italian a cappella choral music from renaissance to contemporary music, also including pieces composed especially for the choir.

The KGBL Chamber Choir consists of about 35 members. Its singers are students aspiring for greater challenges in the vocal field and those who had already concluded education and continue their path at the Academy of Music or other faculties. The Chamber Choir aims to realize the artistic aspirations of individuals and to become familiar with literature of various styles and genres, from the Renaissance to today. The choir gives special attention to performing compositions by Slovenian composers and includes the works of the youngest generation of composers in its repertoire. They carried out first performances of numerous new pieces, written especially for the choir, and reaped many a success at competitions at home and internationally (Tallinn, Gdansk, Prague ... ). The choir performs under the lead of conductor and composer Ambrož Čopi, along with his assistant Tine Bec.

The youth choir BALSIS stages its 30th season in 2016/2017. Under the guidance of its conductor Ints Teterovskis, the choir has become one of the most prominent choirs in Latvia. Each year, Latvian choirs take part in a national competitive appraisal and BALSIS was ranked first in 2015. BALSIS prepares six to eight different concert programs annually, mastering the works of both local and foreign composers from the renaissance to the modern era, from a cappella songs to works with a symphony orchestra. Folk songs, both Latvian and from elsewhere, are an essential ingredient in the choir’s repertoire, as are classic songs from the Latvian Song and Dance Festival. The choir has released 18 CDs so far. The Rolling Stone magazine declared the album Ziemassvētki sabraukuši (2008), created in collaboration with the New York Latvian Choir and the New Chamber Orchestra of Riga, among the twenty-five greatest Christmas albums of all time. They successfully gave concerts in many parts of Europe (from Spain to Norway) and USA (2002, 2014), Canada, Australia, and Asia (IFCM Asia Pacific World Choral EXPO 2015 in Macau). In 2016, they were invited to participate in choral festivals both in China and Taiwan.

The group was born in 2014 and is composed of five singers/pianists, all of whom went through many years of classical training in music schools. Dating back to 1992, they also share their most important singing experience in the mixed choir Centro Universitario Musicale in Cagliari, a "nursery" for what has since become their great passion: a cappella music. As KOR, they still actively collaborate with Centro Universitario Musicale. Being musicians allows them to write their own arrangements and to be very versatile in approaching different genres. During their two years of activity, they have had the honor of singing with the great cello player Mario Brunello, and recently took part in Vocalmente (Fossano). There, they worked with Peder Karlsson and Katarina Henryson from The Real Group, whose enthusiasm in working with them resulted in collaboration with Peder as occasional arranger of their contemporary a cappella songs.
