The 1st Spring Dance School in Celje

Celje, April 3 - 5, 2026

In 2026, we are starting a new, holistically designed dance education, which will follow the rhythm of nature in four parts: winter, spring, summer and autumn. Each period will bring a carefully selected program of dance classes and workshops led by Slovenian and international dance artists and teachers.

The program is designed for everyone - for dancers at the beginning of their journey who want to learn or consolidate a certain dance technique and expression, for dancers with prior knowledge, and for choreographers and dance teachers who are looking for new professional knowledge and creative directions. Each season will have its own program of different dance techniques and creative workshops, as well as an accompanying program of talks and professional content that support holistic dance growth.

As an additional program of the spring dance school, we offer free participation in the workshop "Opus Welcome Dance", where participants will prepare a short dance intervention that will open the 17th INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL OF YOUNG DANCE CREATORS - OPUS 1.

All participants will have the opportunity to see the festival and expand their dance horizons in this way.

We invite you to dedicate the Easter weekend to dance development, creative challenges, research, networking and artistic growth.
