Ajda Tomazin

VIZUALNO BELEŽENJE PLESA
Delavnica povezuje ples in vizualno umetnost z namenom, da udeleženci vizualno zabeležijo  ples. Vsebina delavnice je deljena na teorijo - kaj pomeni gib, kakšni so pristopi in možne perspektive opazovanja, kako beležimo gib ter praktični del, ko bomo kot del plesnih delavnic istočasno vizulano beležili plesalce v elementu. Delavnica zaobjema obiske plesnih klasov na Poletni plesni šoli in konzultacije v skupini. Tehnike izražanja so lahko risanja - grafitni svinčniki, peresa, črnila in čopiči, barvni svinčniki, pasteli, oglje, akvarel in mešane tehnike, kolaž, fotografija, digitalna manipulacija ali video.  Ob zaključni produkciji Poletne Plesne Šole bodo imeli udeleženci delavnice prodajno razstavo.

VISUAL RECORDING OF DANCE
The workshop combines dance and visual arts in order for participants to visually record dance. The content of the workshop is divided into theory - what does movement mean, what are the approaches and possible perspectives of observing dance, how we record movement; and the practical part when we are part of dance workshops and visually record the dancers in the element. The workshop includes visits to dance classes at the Summer Dance School and group consultations. Expression techniques can be drawing - graphite pencils, pens, inks and brushes, colored pencils, pastels, charcoal, watercolor and mixed media, collage, photography, digital manipulation or video. At the final production of the Summer Dance School, the workshop participants will have an exhibition.

Gregor Luštek: PLESNA DELAVNICA / DANCE WORKSHOP; level lll

Delavnica bo potekala v angleščini in slovenščini. / The workshop is going to be in English and Slovenian

Kaja Lin: ReConnect Mobility; level ll

Delavnica bo potekala v angleščini in slovenščini. / The workshop is going to be in English and Slovenian.

Kaja Lin

ReConnect Mobility

ReConnect Mobility
ReConnect-Mobility is a specific way of moving in interconnected sequences, where a lot of work is based on power, acrobatic elements, yoga elements, but also on fluidity and softness. In strength, we will try to find the essence of softness and the other way around. There will be a lot of hand balance work that will be will taught after preparation exercises.  During the class we will learn about a wide range of rotations, body lifting and movements of the spine. But the most important thing is that we create a playful environment where we can explore more complex but body friendly movements that enable our growth and development.

Katarina & Vid: FLOORWORK & BREAKING; level I

Delavnica bo potekala v angleščini in slovenščini. / The workshop is going to be in English and Slovenian.

Katarina & Vid

FLOORWORK & BREAKING

Leta 2008 so si prijatelji uredili prostor za treniranje v zapuščeni tovarni Rog, kjer so ustanovili skupino Flow From Below. Njegov stil plesa temelji na tradicionalnih osnovah z modernim pristopom. Glavna vrlina njegovega plesnega stila je flow in originalnost.

Trough the week dancers gain more strength, endurance, sharp technique, fluid movement (especially in transitions) and understanding of music and rhythm, so they can easily become one with the music in the moment. At the class dancers get acquainted with the most important core beliefs of jazz dance - improvisation: creating movement on the spot with no pre-made choreography blending movement with emotional content the music gives to every individual.
On the calss dancers embody the dynamic energy of jazz dance style, learn vintage jazz moves from last decades and dance to the jazz music full out!

DELAVNICA PLEŠI IN UKREPAJ/ DANCE AND ACT
Ključne besede: gibanje, diskusija, sestavljanje, video, analiziranje, akcija, ...
V 180 minutnem formatu bomo združili teorijo in ples.

Maša Kagao Knez: AFRO SODOBNI / AFRO CONTEMPORARY; level ll

Delavnica bo potekala v angleščini in slovenščini. / The workshop is going to be in English and Slovenian.

Maša Kagao Knez

AFRO SODOBNI
Po dolgoletnih pedagoških, koreografskih in plesnih izkušnjah, je Maša oblikovala sodobni plesni klas, v katerem povezuje sodobne plesne tehnike in principe zahodnoafriških plesov (fluidnost, muzikaličnost, ritmičnost..). Preko vaj in plesne kombinacije želi plesalce spodbujati k nadgrajevanju njihovega plesnega izraza in poglabljanju senzibilnosti v plesni interpretaciji.

AFRO CONTEMPORARY
Maša’s choreographic and teaching work is based on connecting contemporary dance techniques with West African dances. She focuses on exploring different qualities and is interested in how to stimulate dancers to achieve various possibilities of dance expression with the help of mastering dance technique, the elements of African tradition (rhythm, movement motives,…) and improvisation.

The class is intended for all dancers, regardless of their prior training. Focusing on different qualities (awareness and reactivity of the body, clear impetus, precision and intention of movement, focus in a given moment,…), the class develops fluidity, a greater amplitude of movement as well as a freer, richer and more authentic performance.

Festivalu koreografskih miniatur v Beogradu.

Maša Kagao Knez works as a dancer, choreographer and theatre practitioner. She first came into contact with the performing arts as a child through the work of her mother, Jasna Knez, a dancer and choreographer herself. Nicole Speletic

MODERN DANCE TECHNIQUE
Explore essential elements from American modern dance techniques of Humphrey, Limon, Horton and others - including swings, falls, tables and T's, lunges, leaps, spirals, sequential and suspended movements with musicality/rhythm and emotional inspiration.  Broaden your skills and add to your movement vocabulary with the building blocks of more complex modern and contemporary movements.

Nicole Speletic: MODERN DANCE, level II

Delavnica bo potekala v angleščini in zato opisa ne prevajamo. / The workshop is going to be in English.

MODERN DANCE - Warm-Up and Choreography
This class will include a complete modern/contemporary dance warm up (standing center, some floor work, and movements through space) followed by creative, musical choreographic sequences, (with some partnering).  For all dance students 15 and up with some dance experience.

Nicole Speletic

Nicole Speletic (nspeletic@gmail.com), dance artist and philosopher from New York City, was first in her family to attend college. Full merit scholarships provided opportunities to pursue her education from high school through doctoral level. She held a full PhD fellowship at Georgetown University, was granted the Mellon Teaching Fellowship, was co-director of the student dance company (G.U. Dance) and received two awards for her contribution to the arts. Nicole trained and worked at the Limon Institute (7 years), was apprentice with Limon Dance Company, was Associate Director of Limon Professional Studies Program (3 years) and helped design that curriculum. She later completed one year of a master's degree in Dance Studies (Malta University).
Dr. Speletic strongly values her European heritage, and travels there annually offering workshops, presentations, projects and attending special courses. She also maintains an active practice in dance and philosophy, with daily class and cross-training, and through reflective theoretical analysis - each enriching the other. She would say that she has learned the most from life experiences: tutoring prisoners, changing her own name, marrying her sister, talking her father through to the next realm, standing up in court for a friend, dancing back-up at Bowery Ballroom and busking with a jazz band in the UK. And she believes in art's power to express the most profound and significant aspects of this human condition - to catalyze human experience – its mystery, delight or tragedy - into something meaningful and valuable.

Urška Centa: BOSONOGI FLAMENKO / BAREFOOT FLAMECO / level I

Delavnica bo potekala v angleščini in slovenščini. / The workshop is going to be in English and Slovenian.

Urška Centa

BOSONOGI FLAMENKO
Pod imenom bosonogi flamenko se skrivajo delavnice flamenka brez tradicionalne flamenko obutve. Plešemo ga bosi, v neposrednem stiku s tlemi in primitivnimi, zgodovinskimi koreninami. Delavnica bo sestavljena iz ogrevanja, tehničnih gibalnih vaj in plesih sekvenc, ritmičnih in melodičnih vaj flamenka, ploskanja, ustvarjalnih plesnih nalog in koreografije.

2019; Lorca, ti in jaz 2018; Deblas/Boginje 2018, itd.), pri katerih sodeluje z izpostavljenimi slovenskimi in tujimi umetniki (Katja Šulc, Robert Jukič, Mirza Redžepagić, Tomaž Gajšt, Murat, Zvezdana Novaković, Nino Mureškić, Tadej Kampl, Joe Kaplowitz, Izidor Erazem Grafenauer, Petra Vidmar, Tomaž Pačnik, Marko Churnchetz, Kristijan Krajnčan, itd.).
