Tina Valentan

Tina Valentan is a Slovene based choreographer and dancer, a graduate of the School for New Dance Development. In the last ten years she has appeared in various artistic events and performed in twenty-three performances, with numerous replays at home and across Europe. As a dancer she has closely collaborated with Snježana Premuš, Mateja Bučar and Milan Tomášik. As an author she likes to surrender to creating intimate solos, that reflect her humorous, animalistic, ironic and playful creative force. In collaboration with Anja Bornšek and Barbara Kanc she is invastigating the relationship between space and body, through an experiential and imaginative way. Since 2011 she has been a regional selector of dance miniatures on dance gatherings, organised by JSKD. Between 2018 and 2022 she collaborated in a project SKUM; developing communication competences through cultural-art education. In 2017 she won a Ksenija Hribar award for the best Slovene dancer/performer.

Tina Valentan (1978) je v Sloveniji bazirana koreografinja in plesalka, diplomantka akademije School for New Dance Development.
